CRE Code of Practice

On 6th April 2006, the CRE's new statutory code of practice on racial equality in employment took legal effect in England, Scotland and Wales.

The code is a set of recommendations and guidance on how to avoid unlawful racial discrimination and harassment in employment.

Energy Efficiency

Landlords Energy Saving Allowance

In August 2004, the Government introduced "The Energy Saving Items (Deduction and Expenditure etc) Regulations 2004" hitherto called the Landlord's Energy Saving Allowance (LESA). The Scheme was extended in March 2005.

LESA is available to all landlords who pay Income Tax and let residential property to tenants.
